Memorial to a Marriage
WHY ESSENTIAL:
Next time you’re visiting the Bronx’s Woodlawn Cemetery, take some time to find this permanent installation by New York artist Patricia Cronin, who has immortalized the love between her and her partner, painter Deborah Kass, for all eternity. The larger-than-life white-marble sculpture, which depicts the lovers entwined in bed, is a perfect balance of mournful cold and searing hot.
The secret:
When Cronin and Kass’s beloved dog, Jasper, died, they sprinkled his ashes on the site so “he can be waiting for us when we get there.” 501 E 233rd St at Webster Ave, Bronx (718-920-0500, thewoodlawncemetery.org)

Josh, it is true. X is not on the menu.
I am really upset that Time Out printed my secret website for everybody to see. gugunnameable is so secret, you can't even view it on a regular computer -- the secret password is
www.unnameablebooks.net

The concept of this piece, as described, is excellent; the execution is terrible and misleading (per the description, anyway–it would have been a fine article properly described). A tip would be, for example: "order X at Pearl Oyster Bar, it's not on the menu, it's excellent, and you have to request it." Or a reservation password or somesuch.

How is this an "ultra-valuable tip?" It's not even a "tip," it's a piece of trivia.
