Get Physical has been tinkering around the edges of the electro-house sound for years, but this track still comes as bit of a shock. The tune kicks off routinely enough, with a slinky, vaguely Latin groove reminiscent of early Murk. But at the two-minute mark, a seemingly incongruous vocal line, sounding almost exactly like second-tier Vegas star Bobby Vinton, kicks in to croon about beautiful feelings and whatnot. At first blush, it’s incredibly jarring and almost schmaltzy, but repeated listens reveal the track for what it is—a summery, breezy ode to love. The two remixes one from Gavin Herlihey and the other by Lopazz, toughen things up, but the original mix is all you need.
