    Mets colors

    Never mind the epic collapse, a blight beyond description on this city’s storied sports tradition. Of longer-lasting concern are the colors that this team parades around in year after year. Orange and blue? Even if this combo is a tribute to National League teams that New York lost (Giants orange; Dodger blue), that doesn’t make it any less eye-scaldingly ill-considered.
