Coffee pro Liz Clayton fills us in on last night’s Chelsea bean extravaganza...
1 Kalahari Harlem
This is reminiscent of the Kalahari Desert. Municipal buildings in the Kalahari Desert, that is.
2 425 Fifth Ave
Yes! This is exactly how we always dreamed luxury condos on Fifth Avenue should look.
3 Sky House
Insipid lines, blah brick and windows evocative of a prewar mental institution—in Murray Hill.

Just curious - you award the Lucida top spot for condos. Okay, it hasn't been built yet - doesn't something, anything, have to actually be VISIBLE to be a SIGHT? If you can't SEE it how can it be a SIGHT? Also - the wonderfully artistic picture you have of the as yet UNSEEN Lucida pictures the giant edifice as if it was sitting on a leafy, pastoral corner in Greenwich, Ct., not the corner of 86th and Lex., where it will contribute to the urban blight of giant highrises blotting out what little sunlight reaches us poor molocks below.
Did you write this after those cocktails at Tavern on the Green?
One place you should have checked out is the Lucida sales office a block down on Lexington that is manned by seven foot runway models and looks like an upscale massage parlor. At least it fits in with the neighborhood.
