    Time Out New York / Issue 658 : May 7–13, 2008
    The horny issue

    Musée d’Horné

To kick off our second annual Horny issue, we dared five local artists to create works that’d really turn us on, and then asked seven NYC sexperts to gauge the pieces’ effectiveness. Scandalous!

    By Ashlea Halpern

    Will Clark
Producer- host, Porno Bingo; erstwhile porn model
    Charlie Langella

    Legs Malone

    Billy Eichner

    The artist: Michelle Wild
    Upper West Side

    Professional photographer (mwildphotography.com)

“I like taking voyeuristic pictures—often from a guy’s perspective, like down a blouse or up a skirt,” says Wild. “I go to a lot of BDSM and swingers parties to network, and I’m always the chick with all her clothes on. Couples will often hire me to shoot erotic pictures of them, but they have such different ideas of what turns them on. She usually wants a picture of them holding hands; he wants a picture of her giving him a blow job with come all over her face. It’s my job to help them find a middle ground.”

Legs says: “Now we’re talking! We’ve all seen women climbing up subway stairs and giving people a hell of a free show. This really captures erotic NYC for me; it’s everywhere. All you have to do is keep an eye out.”

Sarah says: “I really love this image. It’s pure voyeurism—a snapshot of a moment in time in New York City, where anything is possible. It feels real—and you wouldn’t have the whole genre of amateur porn if people weren’t interested in seeing the unpolished side of sex.”

Charlie says: “Who can resist a black-and-white subway photo shot from the hip? The exit sign takes the sexiness out of the image for me, though. I’d rather think about something going in than out.”

Wow. This shot REALLY turned me on. I sometimes get off at this stop too. I will be keeping an eye out for girls like this and stop fidgeting with my ipod nano. LOL
