    Class strip

Everyone wants to look good naked: Three Scores “entertainers” show (see our online video) and tell how they do it.

By Kate Lowenstein Photos by Alexander Milligan

STAY TUNED - video workouts from additional Scores ladies available later this week!

    Ana Maria, 28

Have you always been in such good shape?
More or less. But I’ll tell you a secret: I had a baby seven years ago and it made my body much more womanly.

How often do you work out?
Every day. I teach salsa and merengue lessons and go to the gym: Every day I do 100 crunches, 25 minutes on the treadmill and lots of squats. There’s no way you’d have a body like mine without doing all that. Look at my abs!

Where did you learn to dance?
I started ballet at the age of five in Romania, where I’m from. As a teenager I danced on the street in Bucharest for pocket money. I was a pro dancer for a while. But I figured out how to pole dance by copying people and practicing—no one’s gonna teach you that.

    What do you eat?
     Salads. Always salads.

Don’t you ever break down and get a burger?
Yeah, but only half. I have a lot of self-control.

    Madison, 21

How do you stay in shape?
By working here! And I do a Pilates DVD once a week at home.

    What do you eat?
I’m a vegetarian, so lots of fish, soy chicken and veggies. And the occasional bag of chips. That’s when I break out the Tae Bo tape!

And what if you have five bags of chips?
When I’ve been really bad, I hold my nose and swallow a shot of wheat grass. That clears out my system.

Are there mornings when you really don’t feel like dancing?
Yeah, but I just make myself a pot of ginger tea and it perks me right up.

Where did you learn to dance?
I didn’t. I just feel the music and then bust a move.

Have you ever taken a striptease workout class?
No, but I’ve been meaning to try one! I’ve only been dancing for two months, so I could probably learn some good tricks.

    Irene, 26

Do you go to the gym?
No. Before I started working here, I would go five or six times a week. But now I don’t need to. Here, your heart pounds, you get sweaty…

    Sounds like a good workout.
It definitely is. I love my job. When I take three days off, even, I’m dying to come back. What do you eat?
I stay away from carbs and sugar—anything that’s white. But otherwise, most anything I want. The calories get burned by five nights of dancing. Though I do try not to eat anything after 6pm.

How late do you work? Don’t you get hungry?
I’m usually here till about 5am and I almost never get hungry.

Where did you learn to dance?
From watching TV, mostly. I’m not a professional dancer—it’s all about sensuality.

Have you ever taken a striptease workout class?
    No. What’s that?
