“The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the least solitary places in the city, but it’s worth dodging all the runners, tourists and the occasional music-video shoot to stand under one of the big pillars and have existential thoughts. I love that all of this traffic goes on around and under you. Plus, there are benches on which to catch your breath in the event of an existential crisis.”
