    Bonus reel

Can’t get into a screening? There’s more to the Tribeca Film Festival than just films.

    By Erin Clements

    THU 24 THRILLER NIGHT
Filmmaker John Landis screens his epic video for Michael Jackson’s Thriller (and the concomitant making-of doc) in honor of its 25th anniversary. The zombie disco sounds cool, but we’re a little freaked by the MJ look-alike contest. FREE Tribeca Drive-In, World Financial Center, Vesey St at West Side Highway. Doors 6:30pm, screening 8pm.

    FRI 25 CLIVE OWEN
Kicking off a series of A-list talks at the Apple Store, the actor discusses filming Duplicity with Julia Roberts and The International with Naomi Watts. Duplicity helmer Tony Gilroy appears Sat 26. FREE Apple Store, 103 Prince St at Greene St. 6:30pm.

    MON 28 MIKE FIGGIS
The director of Timecode and founder of the social-networking site Shooting People, Figgis discusses digital cinema and making Love Live Long, his upcoming feature set during the globe-spanning Gumball 3000 Rally. FREE Directors Guild Theater, 110 W 57th St at Sixth Ave. 6:30pm.

THROUGH MAY 1 TRIBECA ART AWARDS DISPLAY
Works by Ross Bleckner, Ryan McGinness, Timothy White (above) and others are on view before being given to 13 winning directors. FREE Parsons The New School, 66 Fifth Ave at 13th St. Mon–Fri 10am–9pm, Sat 10am–5pm, Sun noon–6pm.
