Visit Russian supermarket M&I International (249 Brighton Beach Ave between Brighton 1st St and Brighton 1st Pl, Brighton Beach, Brooklyn; 718-615-1011) for massive cabbage or egg-and-onion pierozki (savory pies)—suitable $1 chasers for that vodka from the night before.
Venerable Mamoun’s is a veritable rip-off compared to the crunchy $2 falafel crammed with onions, lettuce, tomato and generous doses of tahini at Yatagan Kebab House (104 MacDougal St at Bleecker St, 212-677-0952).
If you e-mail newyorkunderbelly.com, you’ll be entitled to free vodka drinks at club Crash Mansion (199 Bowery between Rivington and Spring Sts, 212-982-7767) from 9 to 10pm. Make that hour count!*

  Or we can share... just because they want us to order 2 salads, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, doesn't mean we can't order one of what we want and share. Just because the booze is free doesn't mean you shouldn't drink.
