    Deal ticket

Can a person get by for a week on $20? If you like pizza, beer and street food, yeah!

    MONDAY

Start your day with a pillow-soft steamed pork bun for 75¢ at ancient Chinatown coffeeshop Mei Lai Wah (64 Bayard St between Elizabeth and Mott Sts, 212-925-5435).Four quarters and a smile buy you five panfried, pork-and-chive-filled dumplings at Prosperity Dumpling (46 Eldridge St between Canal and Hester Sts, 212-343-0683).

Care to wet your whistle? Visit Bar BQ’s (689 Sixth Ave at 20th St, Sunset Park, Brooklyn; 718-499-4872) Blue Monday hootenanny for live blues and free bourbon from 7 to 9pm. You’ll get drunk fast, thanks to those hunger pangs.*

    * Just because the booze is free, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tip.

Or we can share... just because they want us to order 2 salads, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, doesn't mean we can't order one of what we want and share. Just because the booze is free doesn't mean you shouldn't drink.
