5 Don’t give gifts too early—it’s creepy and it will make a girl think you want her in your debt. Flowers are an exception, of course.

6 Don’t try to be a bad boy. What kind of gal are you going to attract? There will be no long-term prospects, and once she figures out you’re really a pussycat, you’ll be history.

7 Don’t think that failing to call or make contact for weeks will pique her interest—any girl worth her salt will move on.
