Formed in Boston, the young indie-folk group David Wax Museum is based around the singer and guitarist David Wax as well as Suz Slezak—who plays fiddle and (gross!) a donkey jawbone. Both have voices that sound like they could devour small children, transmitting songs steeped in old American folk and rural Mexican sounds. Support features Radio Jarocho's festive folk style known as son jarocho, which hails from Veracruz, Mexico.
