This exhibit looks at the eruv, a Jewish symbolic border that encircles a neighborhood, through the lens of 130 artifacts dating back to the 15th century. The objects, including ancient Hebrew books, archival NYC photographs and contemporary artworks, illustrate various interpretations of the boundary.
