This collaborative effort between the New-York Historical Society and the Landmarks Preservation Commission is like porn for history and architecture nerds. The exhibit compiles photos of 90 of the city’s most impressive edifices and explains how they fit into the larger story of New York. You’ll see images of popular structures such as the Woolworth Building and the Unisphere, as well as lesser-known spots like Charlie Parker’s former home at 152 Avenue B (that corner, at Avenue B and 10th Street, is named for the jazz legend).
