Central Park looks a little barren this time of year, but you can gaze at verdant, lush representations of New York’s backyard at the Museum of the City of New York. Although well regarded in the art world, the 83-year-old Ruttenberg (whose daughter Kathy is also an artist) has never exhibited before, so don’t miss the rare opportunity to glimpse 17 of her large-scale images of Grand Army Plaza, Literary Walk and Sheep Meadow, where she can be found working most (temperate) days.
