Time Out says

The 17th-, 18th- and 19th-century period rooms inside the Brooklyn Museum look a little more contemporary, now that four artists have updated the historically accurate decor with their own works. This mash-up of past and present features Anne Chu’s silk flowers growing out of plush armchairs and Mary Lucier’s videos playing on furniture that has never held a television before. Installation artist Ann Agee transformed one of the most luxurious rooms into a studio, while Betty Woodman displayed her own ceramics on top of 200-year-old tables and carpets.
