Since it’s a clean, professional room that books pretty much the same comics as its competitors, Stand-up NY’s biggest selling point is that it has the neighborhood all to itself. On a good night, you might see Dave Attell, Lewis Black or Marc Maron as they work their way through the circuit. On a more typical night, you won’t—but you’ll still get some solid laughs, followed by a hangover in the morning.
