But wait, there’s more: an intriguing mix of bar snacks (tikka masala, panini, potpies); deep house and hip-hop in the revamped downstairs lounge; and cozy, secluded booths. You’ll delight in seeing those relics of a bygone era ashtrays littering the bar. And you won’t be alone. Everyone from NYU kids to retirees regards this bar as a refuge from the Bloomberg-era blues.
