It hasn't even hit theaters yet, but if you're already sick of Fifty Shades of Grey, we've got some screening options for your Valentine's Day. (After all, E.L. James didn't invent sex, as these ten erotic books will attest.) You could cuddle up at home and watch the 15 most romantic movies on Netflix, but why not make Valentine's Day a night out? We can think of few more romantic places than the back row of a darkened movie theater.

All five of the titles below have ticket availability as of now, but act fast.

Moulin Rouge! Baz Luhrmann’s aggro-pomo musical takes more risks per minute than most studio movies do altogether. While not all pay off, the ones that do make for some exhilarating viewing. Landmark’s Sunshine; Sat at midnight; $10

Sid and Nancy Gary Oldman is Sid Vicious in this trashy yet tender look at the punk rocker’s ill-fated romance with groupie/junkie Nancy Spungen (indelibly played by Chloe Webb). You’ll never forget Nancy’s cry of “Sid, what about the farewell drugs?!?” Nitehawk Cinema; Sat 12:15am; $11

Harold and Maude He’s a young man obsessed with offing himself. She’s a sweet old lady who gives him a picture of a sunflower. Valentine’s Day is as good a time as any to revisit this unusual cult romance. Tickets are sold in pairs, and come with chocolate fondue, strawberries and a glass of chilled prosecco. Videology; Sat 9:30pm; $40

Modern Romance Albert Brooks’s finest moment as a writer-director one-ups Woody Allen with its depiction of a neurotic film editor who’s agonizingly afraid of commitment. Anthology; Sat 7:15pm

Possession Andrzej Zulawski’s masterpiece about the dissolution of a relationship (and its monstrous rebirth) is mandatory viewing for all new couples. This is what you signed up for! Anthology; Sat 9:15pm
