You might have heard that Brit pop faves Blur have just come out with The Magic Whip, their first album in 12 years? (If not, might we kindly direct you to Spotify or, heaven forbid, your local record store.)

The new record heralds the group's reunion with original guitarist Graham Coxon—last seen on its superb 1999 LP 13. The quartet celebrates the release this Friday, May 1 with a surprise gig at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The show, presented by Converse Rubber Tracks, is free...but only if you're able to nab a spot online first. You'll have your chance to score free tickets starting tomorrow—Wednesday, April 29—at noon via converse-music.com/blur. (Note that with a confirmation e-mail the gig is still first come, first served.)

To borrow a phrase from the band, "Woo-hoo."
