The Union Square Partnership has just announced a new addition to their Summer in the Square series: free movies in the park!
On Thursday, you can head to Union Square for a free showing of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the good one) at 6:30pm. Next Thursday, you can catch another great family classic, The Wizard of Oz, which also starts seating at 6:30pm. Both movies begin at dusk.
Need an extra incentive to get there early? The first 500 attendees get free seat cushions! (You don't even need a golden ticket.) Enter the park at Union Square Park's North Plaza for the outdoor screenings at 17th St and Union Square East.
