If you do New Year's Eve right tonight, it's a guarantee you won't be feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the first day of the new year tomorrow. That's where brunch comes in, that glorious breakfast-lunch hybrid where you can load up on chocolate-chip pancakes at 2pm and reach for a second (or third) hair of the dog without any judgment. Kickstart 2015 the right way, with Bloody Marys, Benedicts and more at these New Year's Day brunches in NYC.

Buvette
Jody Williams's pint-sized West Village bistro will dish out Francophilic brunch plates like Croque Madame and flaky croissants from 10am until 5pm.

Clinton Street Baking Co.
Brunch will be served all day (9am through 11pm) at this LES bakery-cafe, which means you don't have to wrench yourself from your bed-sheet burrito until day has turned to night. Sure, the lines are likely to be long, but those famous, fluffy pancakes are well worth the wait.

Dear Bushwick
The British-inflected North Brooklyn spot is offering a wallet-friendly brunch deal on New Year's Day: An entree, a cocktail and a coffee for only 15 bucks.

Dovetail
John Fraser will offer a $64 three-course brunch from 11am to 3pm at his Upper West Side eatery, with items like cured-salmon tea sandwiches, veal meatballs, a chorizo frittata and unlimited champagne on the menu.

Empire Diner
Amanda Freitag's reboot of the chrome-walled Chelsea icon will serve all-day brunch—with dishes like herb omelettes, patty melts and stuffed French toast with orange marmalade—on January 1st from 11am to 6pm.

The Fourth
Didn't get enough champagne flowing on New Year's Eve? Head to the Union Square restaurant for a champagne brunch: $38 gets you a choice of two drinks (Bellinis, Bloodys, Mimosas), unlimited Café Quatrième coffee and an entree, like a toasted bagel platter with smoked salmon, whitefish salad and cream cheese.

Marta
Danny Meyer's pizza-focused dining room inside the Martha Washington hotel will be serving their usual brunch menu on January 1st from 11am to 3pm. Yes, that means your first meal of the year could be that guanciale-egg-and-potato–topped pie ($17) you've been dreaming of since 2014.

Montmartre
Three of Gabe Stulman's West Village spots—including Joseph Leonard and Jeffrey's Grocery—will be hosting a Brunch-a-Palooza through January 4th, starting each day at 10:30 am. Find specials like octopus sisig at Joseph Leonard and boeuf bourguignon hash at Montmartre.

Mudspot
The New Year's partying just won't quit at Mudtruck's East Village brick-and-mortar. Soul music, Mud coffee and brunch fare like a salsa-verde egg bowl will be available from 8am until midnight.

Sons of Essex
Soak up two hours of bottomless Mimosas with Nutella-topped French toast and classic Canadian-bacon Benedicts at this boozy Lower East Side haunt, offering brunch from noon to 7pm.

Trattoria il Mulino
Fill up on Italian numbers like burrata French toast with fresh berries and bacon-and-egg–topped Hangover Pizza at this il Mulino sibling, served from 11:30am until 4pm. Get unlimited Peroni and punch for an extra $25.

Wilma Jean
Give your celebrating a Southern twang at this Brooklyn spot, serving the traditionally luck-inducing Hoppin' John, a down-home New Year's dish of rice, bacon and black-eyed peas with a side of collard greens.
