[title]
Some of the city’s most notable chefs, including Daniel Boulud (Daniel) and Andrew Carmellini (Bar Primi, The Dutch), are inviting New Yorkers to join them for dinner on Wednesday, Nov 5 to celebrate the first iteration of Dine Out for Heroes. The one-night-only event is an extension of Stand Up for Heroes, a comedy line-up featuring Louis C.K., John Oliver and Bruce Springsteen.
Over the course of the day, more than 100 restaurants—ranging from the legendary Le Bernardin and The Lamb’s Club to fast-casual dens like 5 Napkin Burger and Blue Smoke—will donate $1 for every diner to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which supports long-term rehabilitation and care for injured veterans. Reservations are recommended but not required and can be made at bobwoodrufffoundation.org.
