New Yorkers are infamous for their all-black layered ensembles and badass winter attitude, but just in time for spring, Bloomingdale’s wants you to get colorful—literally.

As a part of the department chain’s latest campaign to promote the store’s contemporary ready-to-wear exclusives, the brand asked some of their favorite designers—and ours too, coincidentally—to create an outfit inspired by Crayola hues. The challenge: Each designer must use actual crayons as materials.

Chances are you won’t a 120-pack of crayons at Mood. Or maybe now you will? All of the bright, waxy duds are on window display at the 59th St flagship, but you can get an exclusive look with the designers at Bloomingdale’s on Thursday night.

Starting at 6pm, join fashion gurus such as Rebecca Taylor, Cynthia Rowley, Michelle Smith of Milly and more to celebrate their Crayola masterpieces. And while you’re there, hop in the “Lights, Camera, Color” photo booth, which will create your very own stylish outline for you to color at home.

Check out Nanette Leopre’s “Unmellow Yellow” dress above, Rebecca Taylor’s “Midnight Blue” frock and Rebecca Minkoff’s “Banana Mania” getup below. Be warned: You might feel a sudden urge to grab a coloring book after this.
