Nail art lovers and manicure mavens of New York, rejoice! There’s a new nail bar in town.
And it looks like another British invasion (not that we’re complaining). UK retail stores Dune London, Other Criteria and another Topshop recently opened and tomorrow, UK brand, Nails Inc. will open its first-ever NYC nail bar on the fifth floor of Saks Fifth Avenue.
They’re calling it “The Paint Workshop,” so this won’t be your average nail salon. There will be nine services to choose from, featuring more than 150 colors plus special effects and unique nail art designs for those looking for a “wow” factor.
From Nails Inc.’s famous 15 Minute Mani ($19) to nourishing NailKale treatments ($30) (FYI: Kale strengthens your nails) or even a long-lasting Make’Em Gelous gel service ($48), the menu seems pretty affordable—in case you spend all your money while shopping at Saks. Bonus: Each service grants you a little traditional British hospitality, such as English tea and finger food for snacking.
And since the concept is designed to cater to a busy New York lifestyle, the workshop is loaded with multi-device charging docks and iPads so you can browse and shop the Nails Inc. collection while you juice up your mobile.
So, the next time you go to Saks for holiday shopping, reward yourself and spruce up your nails just in time for the festivities.
