Hudson River Park has just announced a "Summer of Fun" this year that will feature outdoor movies, food festivals, family events, river cruises and more! Here are 10 exciting activities that you'll definitely want to take advantage of.

1. Hudson RiverFlicks: Big Hit Wednesdays
Hudson River Park’s Pier 63 Lawn; July 7-August 17, dusk (generally 8:30pm)
Films like Trainwreck, The Martian, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and numerous other hits from 2015 that don’t start with “T” make up the weekly lineup of this free event.

2. Hudson RiverFlicks: Family Fridays
Hudson River Park’s Pier 46; July 8-August, dusk (generally 8:30pm)
No babysitter? No problem. Wrangle up the little ones for free G and PG movies all summer long at Pier 46.

3. Hudson River Park’s 17th Annual Blues BBQ
Hudson River Park’s Pier 97; August 20, 2:00pm
Engulf yourself in southern culture without having to travel south of 59th street with some of the best blues and BBQ around.

4. Hudson RiverStage
Hudson River Park’s Pier 97; July 16 and August 6, 2:00pm
The first of two shows will celebrate “Americana” with a mix of acoustic, folk and contemporary rock artists. Soul artists will make up the ticket for the second date representing the past, present and future of soul.

5. Hudson River Dance Festival
Hudson River Park’s Pier 63 Lawn; June 15 and June 16, 6:30pm
A celebration of modern dance will showcase some of the best dance companies in New York on back-to-back nights in June.

6. Sunset Salsa
Hudson River Park’s Pier 45; Tuesdays July 12-August 16, 6:30pm
As appealing as Pace picante may seem at sunset, this is the type of salsa that gets your whole body involved. Come early and take a lesson and then show off your skills late into the night with a DJ starting at 7:15.

7. Hudson RiverKids
Locations vary; Mondays June 6-August 15, 6:30pm
Rest assured this is not a group of Huck Finn-wannabes taking on the Hudson, but rather a series of family performers showcasing music to magic to interactive storytelling geared for all ages.

8. Shell-ebrate Oysters!
Hudson River Park’s Pier 25; Sundays July 31-August 21, 4:30pm
More than just a fine dining experience, oysters are essential to the health of the Hudson. How? You’ll have to stop by Pier 25 one of the participating Sundays to find out.

9. Riverfront Walking Tour
Hudson River Park’s Pier 62; June 21-August 2, 6:30pm
Enjoy a walking tour while learning about the history of the area, culminating at the Frying Pan restaurant where your $15 tour ticket will get you a complimentary drink.

10. Sunset Park Cruise
Hudson River Park’s Pier 62; June 15 and August 15, 6:00pm
All-aboard a 1920’s style yacht for a special tour of the Hudson that will include a history lesson as well as incredible views of the Manhattan skyline. The $48 ticket will get you aboard and includes one drink along the way.
