It’s time to hit the mat! The world will celebrate, the first ever, International Day of Yoga on Sunday, and thousands of people including dignitaries from the UN and the Government of India are expected to attend the mass demonstration of the ancient art at the annual Solstice in Times Square. Anyone can reach enlightenment on a mountaintop, but you might think it’s a little more challenging to find Om in NYC. While India may be the home of the yogis, we’re certain that New York is one of the greatest hubs—okay, we’re biased—for the super-healthy practice. From excellent yoga studios to free outdoor classes and drink specials, we’ve rounded up the best deals and promotions you should try in an attempt to find your inner Zen.

AntiGravity Aerial Yoga Trial Classes

You’ll want to try this yoga class—it’s totally on another level. No, really, you’re in air. In honor of National Yoga Day, AntiGravity Lab is offering free classes all week (June 22–27) that combine traditional yoga poses and moves from aerial arts inside the Harrison AntiGravity Hammock. You’ll conquer basic fears (like fear of heights, right?), increase balance and build mobility for better posture. Contact labmanager@antigravityfitness.com to reserve a space and time.

All-day happy hour at Haru

After you align, it’s time to unwind. And what better way to support health and well being than with a holistic drink in your hand, right? Head to any Haru restaurant in NYC (Times Square, Gramercy, Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Wall Street) to enjoy an all-day happy hour special (from when the restaurant opens until 8:30pm) on all TY KU Sake beverages. Sake to me!

Breathe Easy Salt Yoga Promotion

NYC’s only dry salt therapy wellness center, Breathe Easy, is offering a special discount on Salt room yoga classes through Sunday. If you didn’t know, Halotherapy is said to help alleviate stress, allergies and asthma symptoms, so we highly recommend nailing your best tree pose while breathing microparticles inside the dry-salt-covered room. You can book five ($99) or ten sessions ($149), and if you use the code SYTONY you'll receive an additional 20 percent off. Register at breatheeasyusa.com or call 212-725-1138 and mention Time Out New York.

Yoga Connections Tours at the Rubin Museum

If you want to celebrate Yoga day but aren’t feeling flexible, this event is for you! Center your mind and discover the art of the Himalayas through the lens of yoga poses and philosophy during a guided tour at the Rubin Museum. The exhibit is free with the price of admission on Sunday, June 21 at 3pm.
