What’s better than watching cuddly puppies parade around in adorable outfits? Answer: NOTHING. New York Fashion Week is right around the corner, but those avant-garde runway looks are nothing compared to the too-cute styles you’ll see during Freddy’s Bar Doggy Fashion Show on Saturday.
The annual event, which is just one of the highlights during Park Slope’s weekly Summer Strolls block party, will be emceed by writers Mike Drucker and Jess Dweck from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The twosome will provide the mutt-couture commentary, while you enjoy beer specials and pose for pupperazzi photos.
If you’d like to enter your pooch in the best-dressed contest and win the coveted Xena trophy, you can do so for free in advance or right before the show at 5pm. After the awards ceremony, make sure to check out the Empanada Eating Contest to follow at 7:30pm.
