You already know that it’s holiday shopping season. The Bank of America Winter Village, LIC Flea and Food and Artists & Fleas markets are already generating crowds. But this weekend, more holiday bazaars are open for biz: Union Square, The Soho Collective Holiday Pop-up and AMCONYC. And while it’s definitely worth browsing the booths at all of NYC’s holiday markets and pop-ups, now’s your chance to take a peek at the fresh merchandise at these three festive shopping destinations.

Union Square

Union Square’s holiday booths are open now—and this alfresco flea is totally worth braving the cold. Boasting more than 150 local and national vendors, check out handcrafted gifts, ranging from jewelry and accessories to leather goods and artwork.

We’re fans of the brew-your-own beer kits from the Brooklyn Brew Shop ($40); handmade, monogrammed stuffed animals from Hazel Village ($39); and wooden puzzles and board games from Kubiya Games ($38). Plus, with food vendors like Momofuku Milk Bar, Bar Suzette, Wafels & Dinges and No Chewing Allowed!, kick off your perfect weekend right here.

The Soho Collective Holiday Pop-up

This holiday pop-up is a hands-on-affair, offering one-of-a-kind fashions from emerging designers, which you can actually meet and inquire about styling tips. Hot ticket items sold here include luxury apparel, jewelry and gift items from Jes Wade, KES, Lulu Estate Jewelry and more.

But after you chat up the designers, be sure to check out the pop-up’s garage style gallery, which features an array of framed pop culture photography by Rock Paper Photo and Capital Art. Think classic photos of Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor—you know these classics will go fast!

AMCONYC

This one-of-a-kind holiday pop-up opens on Sunday, Nov 23 for one day only—so plan accordingly. You’ll get a first look at ready-to-wear, jewelry and art from local designers and entrepreneurs but while you shop; you’ll receive the full VIP experience.

From 11:30am-9pm, before you browse the booths occupying the Gansevoort Hotel, pose for pictures on the pop-up’s red carpet (open to all guests). Then upon entry, you’ll receive a gift bag to fill with all your purchases, which may include offerings such as Alanna Bess jewel teardrop earrings ($90–$500), Chetna Singh silk scarves ($95–$150) or stylish outerwear from Reverence Apparel ($30–$45). There will also be free champagne and a DJ to make the entire experience feel like one kick ass holiday party, so you can end your weekend on a good note.
