Savvy as you are, we know you've already bookmarked our handy calendar to all of NYC's summer outdoor screenings, updated constantly with new viewing options. But here are two pieces of fresh news: In collaboration with Rooftop Film Club, Time Out New York will present a monthly night of its own, featuring a movie chosen by yours truly. I'm excited to announce the first two titles: On June 29, brace yourself for Richard Linklater's riotous coming-of-age masterpiece, Dazed and Confused, set at the dawn of one eventful 1976 Texas summer. And on July 27, check out the most underrated of Woody Allen's comedies, Broadway Danny Rose, starring a totally transformed Mia Farrow as a brassy Italian mob wife. Act fast: The only place to secure remaining tickets is right here at the Time Out Rooftop ticket portal.
