The weather is starting to cool down—and we’re thrilled because that means we can shop the latest fall fashion trends and finally wear them without breaking a sweat.

It’s time to embrace the, “out with the old and in with the new,” attitude and this weekend, there’s a financial bonus to this cliché. Starting Friday, Sept 19th, designer Steven Alan wants to reward you for cleaning out your closet. Steven Alan and Material Wrld have teamed up for a Fashion Trade-In Service where you trade your outdated, designer digs for Steven Alan’s new fall threads.

Bring in any women’s designer clothing (styles within 5 years) and you’ll receive Steven Alan gift cards, on the spot. And for all you designer purse lovers, you can trade in handbags, too (styles within 10 years). But be warned; bags won’t be quoted right away.

Popular designers such as Ralph Lauren, CHANEL, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff and A.P.C. will be accepted—but that’s only a few from a list of over 130 brands. This event kicks off on Friday, Sept 19th and lasts until Sept 21st, so now's the time to ditch those summer frocks.

Steven Alan Tribecca Annex, 103 Franklin Street between Church Street and West Broadway. (212-342-0692, stevenalantradein.splashthat.com). Fri 19, Sat 20 11:30am-7pm. Sun 21, noon-6pm.
