Ayelet Waldman: Love and Treasure

As a writer, Waldman has taken on mysteries, literary fiction and essays about juggling motherhood with other pursuits. Her latest title uses the so-called Hungarian Gold Train of WWII as a jumping-off point, following a modern-day protagonist searching for someone by whom her grandfather was haunted.
