Cuban writer, translator and teacher José Manuel Prieto channels his many years of living and studying in Russia into new title Encyclopedia of a Life in Russia. Entry by entry, Prieto's narrator sketches out his own novel, which is a playful and poetic look at a nation at odds with itself and its infatuation with the Western world.
