Before McSweeney's was a print journal, a publisher and an organization that helped found 826 National literacy centers around the country, it was a website full of high-concept humor pieces for smarty-pantses. Some of the site's most popular articles are collected in a new volume, and contributors including Teddy Wayne, Melinda Taub and Colin Nissan will read to mark the occasion.
