Village vino den Corkbuzz celebrates International Women’s Day with a special wine tasting, featuring the finest oenophilic accomplishments from female vintners around the world. Nodding to its own femme-fronted roots—Corkbuzz’s founder is master sommelier Laura Maniec—the studio pours out six world-class wines made by women, including a malbec red from Argentine wine pioneer Laura Catena, a vermentino white from California’s Megan Glaab and a French champagne from Marie Courtin. While you're sippin' and swirlin', Maniec explores the experiences and challenges of being a woman in the wine industry.
