American Masters: Hooray for Love!

Lovey-dovey selections from the American Songbook are understandably all the rage on Valentine's Day. Though soprano Jessye Norman's program looks more intriguing than most. While she'll definitely deliver some ardor to the composers you'd expect, including Kern, Gershwin, and Bernstein, Ms. Norman will also be making detours into selctions from Bizet, Ellington, Poulenc and Weill. Bassist Ron Carter is in her band too.
