American Symphony Orchestra

Critics' pick
No other music director has Leon Botstein's knack for unearthing neglected, illuminating works from throughout classical-music history for fresh examination. That certainly holds true for this evening's program, titled "Opus Posthumous," in which Botstein conducts the ASO in works by Bruckner, Dvorak and Schubert that were left unperformed (or undiscovered) during the composers' respective lifetimes.
