Boston Symphony Orchestra

The organization's young music director Andris Nelsons conducts the meaty Apr 15 program of works by Mozart and Richard Strauss. Also on the bill is the New York premiere of noted composer and theorist Gunther Schuller's Dreamscape. The players' run at Carnegie's main space continues on Apr 16 and Apr 17 with touchstones by Shostakovich, Beethoven and Mahler.
