Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center

Renowned both as a clarinetist and as a composer, Jörg Widmann sits in with the society in both capacities tonight. His Fantasie for Clarinet is the centerpiece of a program that also includes the local premiere of Einojuhani Rautavaara's Variations for Five. Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time and works by Pierre Jalbert and Elliott Carter complete the program.
