"Era la Notte"

White Light Festival. Operaphiles and vocal lovers, take note: Distinctive Italian soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci is making one of her too-infrequent visits to New York. The program for this two-evening engagement evokes a nocturnal journey of self-discovery with music by Monteverdi and his contemporaries, performed by period-instrument ensemble Les Siècles; the presentation is directed by Juliette Deschamps and costumed by Christian Lacroix.
