Time Out says

The star violinist has explored a satisfyingly broad range of repertoire: everything from Bach and Ives to collaborations with electronic artist Hauschka. Since she hasn't played with the Phil in a decade, it's great to see that her flair for unfamiliar repertoire is being represented, via Korngold's Violin Concerto. Hahn's only recording of the piece dates from 2007, so it'll be interesting to hear how she's absorbed it over the years. On its own, the Philharmonic will play a favorite, Beethoven's Seventh, perhaps to assure ticket buyers wary of Korngold's name. (Those with the morning of Nov 26 to themselves should consider the $20 open rehearsal. At the matinee on Nov 29, Hahn will appear to play the Korngold, though the Beethoven symphony will be replaced by a pair of shorter works.)
