International Contemporary Ensemble

The tireless innovators known as ICE come to the Americas Society for a program inspired by Trujillo del Perú en el siglo XVIII, a remarkable compendium of science, geography, culture and popular art assembled by Peruvian bishop Baltasar Martínez Compañón during the late 18th century. Providing new works prompted by the codex and its musical content are Alvin Lucier, Du Yun, Aurelio Tello and Paulo Rios Filho.
