Having made his first appearance in Carnegie's big hall as a substitute for Maurizio Pollini in 2011, Jeremy Denk makes a proper, richly deserved return. An endlessly rewarding pianist, Denk frames his program with sonatas by Bartók and Beethoven; in between you'll hear Liszt (inspired by Bach, Wagner and Dante) and a bit of actual Bach, as well.
