League of Composers/ISCM Orchestra

Covering an impressively wide range of sounds and styles, this season-closing concert from the League/ISCM includes two world premieres: Keith Fitch's In Memory and Wang Jie's Oboe Concerto for the Genuine Hearts of Sadness (with New York Philharmonic principal oboist Liang Wang). Also included are recent works by Bruce Adolphe, Eve Beglarian and Elliott Carter, and an underexposed classic, Leon Kirchner's Suite from Lily.
