A superb British pianist known for his vitality and advocacy for contemporary music, Nicolas Hodges opens his latest Carnegie Hall recital with the first book of Debussy's Études and concludes with the second; in between, he'll tackle a U.S. premiere by Harrison Birtwistle alongside pieces by Busoni and Elliott Carter.
