Conductor George Rothman leads the hardy "classical garage band" he runs with composer Anthony Korf in a seasonable bill, pairing "Winter" from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons with the Vivaldi-inspired Violin Concerto No. 1 by Danish composer Poul Ruders; Arnaud Sussman is the soloist in both. The concert opens with Carl Nielsen's Little Suite in A Minor, and ends with Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings.
