Music director Robert Spano and president Alan Fletcher will talk about the bucolic retreat, its philosophy and its history. You'll be treated to a performance by distinguished alumna Dawn Upshaw, and you'll hear Spano at the keyboard in a recreation of last summer's reportedly mighty rendition of Brahms's Piano Quintet in in F minor. And beyond that, the 100-minute program is a secret, reflecting the spontaneity and surprise that any festival season can bring.
