On Mar 1, Suppé's Poet and Peasant Overture sets the stage for Strauss songs with tenor Herbert Lippert and Dvorak's Symphony No. 7. On Mar 2, Welser-Möst steers Schubert's Symphony No. 6, Jörg Widmann's Lied and Strauss's Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche. And the Mar 3 program includes Berg's Violin Concerto, with Frank Peter Zimmermann as soloist, and Bruckner's Symphony No. 4.
