Richard Roberts and Andy Harber, together known as Letherette, released a self-titled debut on the revered Ninja Tune label last year. It was a fine example of beatsmithery, with a sound that picked apart the templates of R&B, pop and house and pieced them back together in ear-tickling style. This gig finds the U.K. duo playing alongside Girl Unit (a maker of melodic bass music that references ’80s genres like electro and synth-pop), Eli Escobar (one of the men responsible for the Tiki Disco shindig, with some great cuts out on Plant Music, Dither Down and the Wurst Music Co.) and House on Mute's Cry Baby.
