Who knew nerdiness could be so hot? We always hoped that it could be, seeing as we were  called "four-eyes" all through grammer school and were always the last ones picked for dodge ball. But it's safe to say that Epic Win Burlesque, the self-proclaimed "nerdiest burlesque show in town," goes beyond the wildest dreams of your average Pointdexter. On Saturday 10, the troupe's latest onstage delight—subtitled Captain Reynolds' Risque Revue: An Evening of Firefly Burlesque—paid tribute to the much-missed space western at the Nuyorican Poets Caf. A killer lineup of performers that included Nasty Canasta, Apathy Angel, Stormy Leather, Minnie d'Moocha, Stella Chuu and Miss Mary Cyn (see, that's where the hotness comes in)—not to mention cosmic-cowboy host Burke Heffner—paid tribute to the Serenity gang in their own scintillating and highly entertaining way. And we've got the photos to prove it!
